The 20-plus participants in the Youth Leadership Academy of the Episcopal Church in Massachusetts, led by The Rev. H. Mark Smith, visited Imago Dei on August 10 as one stop on their borderlands pilgrimage to Arizona and Mexico.
They toured the school, learned about our work, joined us for the first Eucharist of the school year, shared lunch with our scholars, and, finally, tasted the delights of Hub Creamery on Congress, where the photo above was taken. They were perfectly wonderful with our scholars, who were very interested in these visitors from so far away.
We were honored by their visit, and hope they enjoy safe travel home.
