Our scholars were invited guests of the Fox Tucson Theatre on Halloween morning to enjoy a hauntingly beautiful performance by Dave Wickerham on the Wurlitzer pipe organ. In addition to explaining the history and construction of the organ, popular 100 years ago, Mr. Wickerham entertained the assembled crowd with a medley of hits including Disney songs and The Addams Family theme song, then had all of us in stitches as he accompanied Laurel & Hardy’s classic silent film The Battle of the Century (aka “The Pie Fight”).
