Our Family Pantry has provided weekly food boxes to our families since its creation. The pandemic, however, created more insecurity (job, food, etc.). It made us stop to consider what more we could do to help. Well, one answer came from different directions.
We committed to a larger farm plot at Las Milpitas to grow fresh food for our school community. Pivot Produce and then, the Tucson CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), reached out to us looking to serve the local community. Both provide access to more farm-fresh food. With these changes, we now have access to lots of healthy, nutritious produce. Produce that travels straight to Imago Dei families!
