Thank to Dolphins of the Desert Swimming Academy, Imago Dei kids enjoyed an inspiring morning at the UA’s state of the art pool last Saturday, April 22, receiving individualized instruction and meeting Ben Kanute, 2016 Olympian. Dissection Day 2017
Last week, medical students from the UA School of Medicine visited Imago Dei under the aegis of the Department of Family and Community Medicine’s Med Teach program, which takes everything needed for a hands-on class in anatomy and physiology out to Tucson middle-schools. Every year, this visit gets our kids get incredibly excited about studying science. Thank you, Med Teach!
Christmas Party 2016
It was a scene of happy mayhem like no other, as Santa’s Helpers, Pappas Kids Schoolhouse Foundation, and our friends at Intuit brought a bountiful Christmas to our 70-plus scholars. Creating a sacred space at school
The Seventh Grade Religion Class, led by Chaplain Susan Anderson-Smith, recently created a beautiful sacred space for the use of all IDMS scholars. The space features a number of stations where students can express their spiritual longings in a variety of creative ways.
